Do you believe animals are sentient beings? That they can feel emotions, pain, and stress? Animals communicate with us all the time, but many of us simply haven’t learned to understand them. We tend to only see the obvious, but that can lead to misunderstandings, behavior challenges, & health challenges. Caring for a companion animal can be one of the most rewarding, yet challenging experiences in our lives. We aim to be a voice for animals and help them to thrive & not just survive in our human world. Our discussions and interviews range from stress in animals to safety, animal welfare to legal concerns, nutrition to communication, behaviors to travel, plus a whole lot more! Because stress affects our pets’ lives in so many ways, this aspect will be touched on in many of our episodes. We are not about being light, fluffy, and safe. We will be delving into areas that are not often talked about and helping you to take a deeper dive into the world of pet care. Our mission is to provide you with information, guidance, & possible choices you can make for the animals in your care while encouraging you to do your own research in order to make the most informed decisions. Each and every week, join Victoria Stigliano-Dzuban, an Animal Spirituality and Energy Facilitator, Animal Translator, and Integrative Energy Healing Practitioner, and Miranda de Haan, a Pet Care Safety Expert & an Animal Health Technologist, as they discuss various topics, interview other pet experts, and offer opportunities for personalized guidance to our community.

As a veteran who lives with PTSD, she shares how her rescue dogs have helped her along her, at times, bumpy road mentally, which includes anxiety, depression, and sleepless nights.
Adopting a dog, or any animal, from a shelter is not only saving a precious soul but helping to soothe your own as well, and why adopting and not shopping is to her, the only way to find the perfect companion.
We can all be Nuggets of Hope in our small slice of the world. Adopting a pet is one way.

Author, coordinator of anthologies, and podcast host, Kim Lengling enjoys getting to know people worldwide through her podcast Let Fear Bounce.
As an author, Kim shares her love of nature, animals, living with PTSD, and her mission of tossing "Nuggets of Hope" out into the world. You can regularly find her drinking copious amounts of coffee and taking long walks with her dog, Dexter.
Highlighting her faith, nature, love of rescue animals, and living with PTSD, Kim has been writing since 2004.
As the lead author and coordinator of collaborative anthologies: When Grace Found Me, When Hope Found Me and Paw Prints on The Couch, Kim continues to coordinate anthologies and work on her own books, two of which are set to be released in 2024.
In addition to writing, she hosts the podcast Let Fear Bounce, spotlighting people who positively impact the world, sharing how they overcame and/or faced their fears and are now thriving and making a positive difference in the world. When she is not writing or chatting with folks on her podcast, you’ll find Kim walking the fields and woods with her dog Dexter, gathering story ideas from the whispers of nature, and finding "Nuggets of Hope" to share with others.

Have you ever seen a service dog with its handler and wished you could take your dog everywhere with you too? Seems like a wonderful idea for all you dog lovers out there, right? Well... there is a difference between desiring to have your dog with you at all times and legitimately needing your service dog to help you with serious health issues, mobility issues, & navigating society with mental health conditions. Those dogs you see... They are highly trained and are providing a very specialized and incredibly important service. Or are they?
In this episode, we tackle the prevalent and very controversial problem with Fake Service Dogs. We discuss the uprising of scammers, grifters, and people who selfishly try to work "the system" for their own benefit, at the expense of those who legitimately need the help and support of these specialized dogs.
We also dive into the legalities and laws (or lack thereof) that have been put in place to try to protect legitimate handlers and their service dogs.

Angela is a certified holistic pet health coach and a certified cannabis/fungi clinician expert. She spends much of her time creating personalized formulations for individual animals and humans alike, teaching and sharing her extensive knowledge, and hosting It's a Dog's Life podcast on Cannabis Radio & Your Natural Dog podcast on YouTube.
Angela's mission is to educate and empower pet parents to heal and support their pets using whole plant and mushroom medicine. She is also a vocal advocate for safe and natural hemp and cannabis use for both humans and animals.She attended the University of Vermont’s inaugural class in Medical Cannabis for Therapeutic Use and used her expertise to found CBD Dog Health, which offers all-natural, full-spectrum hemp products for pets suffering from various conditions, as well as to launch MycoDog, a line of sustainable mushroom extract and adaptogen tinctures for dogs which was inspired by her own dog's experience with cancer.

The difference is that mirrors reflect back to us what is external - our face, our hair, our perceived physical flaws; our pets, however, reflect back to us what is internal - our stress, our anxiety, our anger, our intolerances, our excitement & joy, our calm, and even our internal physical state.
