In 1991, in Moscow, Russia, Salles established her authority as an energy medicine practitioner by initiating a internship/collaboration with physicians and their seriously ill patients. Highlights of this first trip to Moscow are shared in a documentary about the value of being a hands-on healing team member with critically burned individuals and children with cancer.

Since that time, Salles has facilitated workshops, retreats, and small group Energy Medicine training in the United States and abroad. She is also a holistic product innovator.
